The name of Flamboyant Villa derives from the three mighty Flamboyant’s which surround it, called "fire trees" by the natives because of the bright red colours of their flowers: The Villa is a construction with two bedrooms, which can become three with Kidogo cottage. Simba and Mamba cottage

Simba and Mamba cottage are two twin cottages built in the traditional African style. The roof is made in Casuarina and Silas trunks structure covered with makuti tiles, while the structure is provided of wide opening to grant the ventilation and the garden view. The roof in makuti offers a thermal isolation which, together with the wide windows, the veranda opened on three sides on the garden, grants a comfortable stay. The veranda hosts the living room for eight persons and the sitting room with two wide ethnic sofas and on it face the kitchen, one of the two bedrooms, provided with double bed and private toilet. A stair bring from the veranda to the first floor, where is settled the second wide bedroom with a double-bed a single-bed and a private toilette.

Also from the bedroom at the first floors, as from the veranda, the guest can enjoy a wonderful view on the garden and particularly on the swimming pool, while looking the roof it is possible to admire the amazing makuti structure.

Simba and Mamba offer a holiday full of comfort to a group of 4/5 persons and the view on the swimming pool allow an easy control on the children swimming, sitting on the veranda.

Twiga cottage

Twiga cottage is an ideal solution for a couple on holidays on the Kenyan coast. Its structure and its position permit absolute privacy and a great sense of freedom. Twiga is situated above the garden and it is composed of two units connected to each other by a makuti roof. The main structure is a single room composed of the bedroom, the bathroom, the kitchenette and the indoor sofa.

The bedroom has windows on all the four sides of the house allowing excellent ventilation and full view in every direction. Going down a few steps there is the second structure used as the living area.

It is a beautiful veranda completely open on all four sides and covered with the makuti roof. There is an unlimited view over the garden and the extensive coloured bougainvillea. Its closeness to Baobab Villa and Flamboyant Villa make this cottage particularly adaptable for the use of the customers accommodated in these villas. Kidogo can be reached by an external stair overhanging the Benjamin, has a King size bed, bathroom with shower, a kitchenette and a sofa. There is a view on all four sides of the house, it is extremely comfortable and definitely "African" - an ideal solution for a limited budget.

At the entrance of this property you come across the path that brings you to the splendid and wild Congo River Mosque beach - the pearl of the Kenya coast - just 300 meters away. The beach welcomes guests in an amazing framework of Baobabs of all shapes and sizes that skirt the beach and the right bank of the Mwachema River. Passing opposite the ancient mosque - a Kenyan national monument - you come to the river-mouth where you can admire the great mangrove forest that surrounds it.

In the background a breathtaking panorama of coconut palms extends along the riverbanks, continuing out of sight to the slopes of the Shimba Hills National Park. The river delta changes continuously under the ceaseless movement of the tides, shifting the great sand dunes and modeling a different landscape every day.

Even at low tide, when the beach becomes really vast, you can still bathe and swim. This really unique feature is possible because the coral reef is open at the level of the river, creating a gate, giving access to the open sea.
