Amboseli National Park (2 Days/1 Night)
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
A night stop in the park enables a more leisurely encounter with the magnificent array of wildlife than is possible during the daytime.
The tour departs in the morning arriving at Amboseli National Park on time for a sumptuous lunch. An afternoon game drive in the area of the permanent swamps will reveal plenty of plains game, large and small alike and eminently photogenic in these splendid surroundings with dinner and overnight stay at a lodge in or near the park.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park – Nairobi
On the second day there is an early morning game drive before departing for Nairobi to arrive on time for lunch.
Amboseli National Park (3 Days/2 Nights)
This tour follows much the same itinerary as the above tour but is extended so that game viewing can be undertaken on the second day. The tour departs Amboseli for Nairobi in the late afternoon shortly after lunch.
Tree hotel:
There are three “tree hotels” in the vicinity of Nyeri about 160 kms north of Nairobi. Tree tops and the Ark are in the forest of the Aberdares Mountain and Mountain lodge is on the slopes of Mount Kenya.
Day 1: Nairobi – Tree Hotel
The drive passes the small industrial town of Thika surrounded by extensive pineapple plantations. After crossing the Tana River, source of much of Kenya’s HydroPower, the landscape changes and becomes more lush as you climb into the rich farmlands of the Kikuyu people. Lunch is taken at the Outspan Hotel in Nyeri, in case of visitors to Treetops and Mountain Lodge and the Aberdares Country Club in the case of the Ark. In the afternoon proceed to your tree hotel for overnight stay and where a procession of the forest animals visits the floodlit water holes and many other species are commonly seen.
Day 2: Tree Hotel - Nairobi
In the morning descend to your base hotel before returning to Nairobi in time for lunch
Maasai Mara Game Reserve (2 Days/1 Night)
Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Depart in the morning for the drive to Kenya’s finest game reserve, crossing the Great Rift Valley and the game studded Maasai plains. Lunch is taken at a lodge or camp within the reserve the afternoon game drive gives the opportunity to spot the magnificent black manned lion for which the Mara is famous. Wildlife is prolific and bird watchers will also be richly rewarded.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge or camp in or near the reserve.
Day 2: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Before and after breakfast there are game drives for further exploration of different parts of the reserve. Among the many species are Antelope which you will see are the sharked topi more numerous here than in any other reserve or park in Kenya. After Lunch return to Nairobi. Arrival is late evening.
Maasai Mara Game Reserve (3 Days/2Nights)
Day 1 : Nairobi – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Passing through the dramatic landscape of the Great Rift Valley and other plains inhibited by Maasai Mara National Reserve is reached in time for lunch. In the afternoon a game drive to search out for lions for which the reserve is so famous with a mouth-watering dinner and a cool overnight stay in a lodge or camp in or near the reserve.
Day 2: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
An extensive morning game drive is followed by the poolside or another game drive. This part of the Northern Serengeti is where the great wildebeest migration is resident and it will be possible to see huge herds of these animals covering much of the reserve.
Day 3: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Enjoy a sumptuous English breakfast in the lodge before returning to Nairobi arriving shortly before lunch.
Nairobi -Amboseli- Tsavo West – Mombasa (3 Days/2 Nights)
Day 1: Nairobi –Amboseli National Park
The drive across the Maasai country is enlivened by the sight of these proud warriors and by the wildlife scattered across the plains, often in close proximity to domestic stock. Amboseli National park is reached on time for lunch and a rest before an afternoon game drive enables you to explore this wonderland set picturesquely at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain “Kilimanjaro”.Dinner and overnight stay in a lodge in or near the park.
Day 2: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
Before breakfast a final game drive is undertaken in Amboseli when Mt. Kilimanjaro usually appears from its mantle of clouds. After breakfast drive to Tsavo National Park crossing a dramatic lava flow at the park boundary and a sumptuous lunch is followed by a game drive in Kenya’s largest park, noted especially for its enormous Elephant population with an exciting visit to Mzima springs an oasis where Hippo and crocodile can usually be seen with dinner and overnight at a lodge in the park.
Day 3: Tsavo West National Park – Mombasa
After breakfast the tour departs for Mombasa to arrive shortly before lunch and the tour ends on arrival in Mombasa.
Nairobi - Treetops – Samburu Game Reserve – Mount Kenya – Nairobi. (4 Days/3 Nights)
Day 1: Nairobi – Tree Tops
Drive through ranch land before reaching the foothills of Mount Kenya where much coffee is grown and arrive at your base hotel on time for lunch. Afterwards drive through the forest to reach your tree tops lodge where the night is spent watching the never ending pageant of wildlife which visits the flood lit water hole and salt lick below with dinner and overnight stay at the Tree Tops Lodge.
Day 2: Tree Tops – Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast continue northwards, skirting the massif of Mt. Kenya, to reach Samburu National Reserve on time for lunch. In the afternoon a game drive affords the opportunity to see certain northern species of game not seen south of the equator and these include the reticulated Giraffe, Grevys Zebra and the Somali ostrich with a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay at the lodge/camp in the Game Reserve.
Day 3: Samburu – Mount Kenya
A morning game drive in this wild but splendid reserve continues to the luxurious Mt. Kenya Safari Club whose immaculately manicured gardens nestle on the forested slopes of the mountains. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the numerous optional facilities of the exotic club, which include horseback riding, tennis, golf, bowls, swimming or just luxuriating in the comfort and beauty of your surroundings. Dinner and Overnight stay at the club.
Day 4: Mt. Kenya – Nairobi
After another restful morning depart for Nairobi via Nyeri where lunch is taken at the Outspan Hotel. Lord Baden Powell, the founder of Boy Scout Movement spent the last year of his life at the Outspan and is buried in Nyeri cemetery. Arrive back in Nairobi shortly before sunset.
Nairobi –Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara Game Reserve (4 Days/3 Nights)
Day 1: Nairobi -Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
Shortly after departing Nairobi the vast panorama of the breath-taking Great Rift Valley unfolds before you and there are splendid view points from which the photograph is an entrancing spectacle. Cross the valley floor to arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park which is rich in bird life and there are a surprising number of animals in this terrific beautiful reserve. The night is spent at either a lodge or camp in Lake Nakuru National Park or hotel on Lake Naivasha.
Day 2: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
There is a chance to view the beauty of Lake Naivasha with its varied bird life before driving across the plains of Maasai Mara Game reserve to arrive on time for lunch. The afternoon game viewing will doubtless offer the sight of the huge black manned lions for which the Maasai Mara is well known to inhabit. Dinner and Overnight stay at a lodge in the reserve.
Day 3: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
The day is spent watching and photographing game in Kenya’s finest game sanctuary with dinner and overnight stay at the lodge in the game reserve.
Day 4: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi
The last day of this tour is the safari set after breakfast to Nairobi with a thrilling game drive en-route and arrive back at the Capital City shortly before lunch.
Nairobi –Tree Tops-Samburu National Reserve -Lake Nakuru –Lake Naivasha –Nairobi (7 Days/6 Nights)
Day 1: Nairobi – Tree Tops
Drive northwards through the farmlands of the kikuyu people to reach Mt. Kenya and the small town of Nyeri in time for lunch. In the early afternoon drive through the forest to your tree hotel where the night is spent high above the floodlit waterhole and saltlick. Frequent visitors are elephants, rhinos, Buffalo and giraffe forest Hog. Dinner and Overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 2: Tree Tops – Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast flank Mt. Kenya and descent the dry and rugged semi desert where Samburu national reserve harbors many species of animals not found in the more lush parks of the south. Afternoon game drives with dinner and overnight stay at the lodge /camp in the game reserve.
Day 3: Samburu National Reserve
The day is spent exploring this reserve and you will certainly see the graceful reticulated giraffe, Grevys Zebra, Elephants and the Oryx perhaps the origin of the legend of the unicorn with dinner and overnight stay at your lodge /camp.
Day 4: Samburu - Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha.
Shortly after breakfast depart Samburu and drive to Lake Nakuru stopping en-route to witness the amazing sight of the magnificent Thompson’s Falls where the water of Ngare Naro cascade in a sheer drop of 73m. Have a sumptuous lunch at Nakuru before visiting the World famous “bird sanctuary” and National Park where the sight of a million or more flamingoes have been described by Sir Peter Scott “the world’s greatest bird spectacle”. There is also plenty of game to be seen before spending the night at a lodge or camp in the park or before driving on to spend the night at a hotel in Lake Naivasha.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha -Nairobi.
After breakfast, take a breath-taking view of the stunning Lake Naivasha which is richly endowed with birds (they are over 460 species of birds) before departing for Nairobi to arrive shortly before lunch.
Nairobi –Amboseli – Tsavo West-Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara –Nairobi. (6 Days/5 Nights)
Day 1: Nairobi- Amboseli National Park
Drive through Maasai land to Amboseli National park at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro,Africa’s Highest Mountain with lunch in the park followed by a game drive in this most photogenic of parks.Dinner and overnight at a lodge or camp in or neat the park.
Day 2: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
After an early morning game drive depart for Tsavo West National Park and the route follows the base of Chyulu Hills and cross via a stunning lava flow which confirms Mt Kilimanjaro’s volcanic past with lunch and an afternoon game drive at the park. A visit is made to Mzima Springs where from an under water observation tank it makes it possible to see submerged hippos walking the floor of the springs with dinner and overnight at a lodge in or near the park.
Day 3: Tsavo West – Lake Naivasha.
After breakfast leave for Lake Naivasha taking lunch enroute to Nairobi. In the afternoon reach Lake Naivasha which lies under extinct volcanoes on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The lake is a bird watchers paradise with dinner and overnight at a lakeside hotel.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Drive across the Maasai plains to reach the renowned Maasai Mara in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive introduces you to the bewildering herds and the numerous predators which have made the reserve so famous with a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay in the reserve.
Day 5: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
A full day of game viewing when it should be possible to see all the big five as well as variety of lesser known species with a mouth-watering dinner and overnight stay in the Game Reserve.
Day 6: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
After breakfast depart from the reserve and drive across rift valley to reach Nairobi by Lunchtime.
Nairobi –Tree Hotel – Mount Kenya-Lake Nakuru- Maasai Mara (6 Days/5 Nights)
Day 1 Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Depart Nairobi for the Tree hotel of your choice either to the (treetop, the Ark or Mountain lodge) in the early afternoon.The night is spent in your comfortable perch above the floodlit waterhole and saltlick where nightlong, a procession of animal comes to drink.
Day 2: Tree Hotel – Mount Kenya Safari Club.
After breakfast a short drive brings you to the Mount Kenya Safari Club whose membership includes a host of movie stars, politicians and aristocrats. Here you can have a day of total relaxation in the splendid landscape surroundings. Activities available include golf, tennis and horse back riding and of course swimming in the heated pool with dinner and overnight stay at the club.
Day 3: Mt. Kenya – Lake Nakuru
During the morning cross the tip of the Aberdares mountains stopping briefly to admire the 73m plunge of Thompson’s fall in 1884. Continue to Lake Nakuru for lunch and an afternoon visit to Lake Nakuru National Park where the sight of a million or more flamingoes cannot be forgotten. Overnight at the lodge or camp in the park or continue to Lake Naivasha for overnight at the lake side hotel.
Day 4: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
There is a time after breakfast, to savour the beauty and tranquility of the lake before departing for the Maasai Mara, which it should be possible to locate the huge black manned lions for which the reserve is famous with dinner and overnight stay at the lodge in or near the reserve.
Day 5: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
A full day of game viewing and exploration of Kenya’s finest Game Reserve and kindly note more than 60 species of wildlife are found here as well as a multitude of birds with all meals and overnight at your lodge or camp.
Day 6: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi
After breakfast return via Great Rift Valley to Nairobi in time for lunch.
Nairobi - Samburu – Lake Nakuru –Nairobi. (4 Days/3 Nights)
Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu Game Reserve
Drive north via Mt. Kenya past coffee plantations to Samburu Game Reserve noted for the unusual reticulated Giraffe, Grevys Zebra, Gerenuk and Somali Ostrich. Picnic lunch and game drive en-route with dinner and overnight stay at camp/lodge.
Day 2: Samburu
Full day thrilling game drives in Samburu Game Reserve with early morning and late afternoon game-viewing with delicious meals and overnight stay at the camp/lodge.
Day 3: Samburu –Lake Nakuru
Leave after breakfast with game drive enroute. Drive past the northern tip of the Aberdare Mountains to descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is situated with a sumptuous picnic lunch en-route arriving in the late afternoon with meals and overnight stay at a Lake Nakuru hotel/camp.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru –Nairobi
After breakfast proceed for game drive in Nakuru National Park. Lunch and thereafter depart for Nairobi arriving late afternoon.
Nairobi - Tsavo West – Chyulu Hills – Nairobi (4 Days/3 Nights)
Day 1: Nairobi – Tsavo West National Park
Very early in the morning depart Nairobi and drive south past Kapiti Plains arriving in time for lunch at your camp/lodge. Explore the Tsavo West Park in the afternoon. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tsavo West National Park
Depart shortly after breakfast and have a game viewing drive, a visit to the Mzima Springs which are not far from the lodges or camps.The pool is rich with hippos, crocodiles and bird life. There is an underwater viewing chamber to give you a view of submarine activities and thereafter return back to the camp for a mouth-watering dinner and a cool relaxing overnight stay.
N.B: Kindly note you will carry packed lunch so that you do not come back to the camp).
Day 3: Tsavo West National Park – Chyulu Hills
Shortly after a sumptuous english breakfast visit the Shetani Lava Flows and the Chyulu caves (the caves are just outside the Chyulu gate).Continue to Chaimu Crater South of Kilanguni lodge and kindly note this can also be trekked (time allowing).
Day 4: Tsavo West – Mombasa or Nairobi
After breakfast visit the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary at base of Ngulia Hills, you have a good chance of seeing the Black Rhino. Depart and drive back to Mombasa/Nairobi road on your back to Nairobi lunch enroute.
Nairobi - Maasai Mara –Lake Nakuru -Amboseli –Nairobi (7 Days/6 Nights)
Day 1: Nairobi -Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Day 6: Amboseli National Park

Day 7: Amboseli National Park -Nairobi
Shortly after an English breakfast depart the cozy tented camp/lodge for the last game drive as you depart Amboseli National Park for Nairobi with a sumptuous American picnic lunch served en-route with arrival in Nairobi in the later part of the afternoon.

Day 3: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Full day game viewing in the Mara with an option of nature walks or visits to a nearby Maasai village in between the meal breaks with a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay at the tented camp/lodge.(Maasai village visits available at an extra cost). The optional activities require prior arrangements with the driver /guides as regards the fee to be paid).
Day 4: Maasai Mara- Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, depart Maasai Mara for Lake Naivasha. Shortly after lunch, visit Hells Gate National Park and the gesthermal power station and later proceed to Fisherman’s camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha -Lake Nakuru
Leave after breakfast and drive to the home of millions of flamingoes and the home of the white and black rhino and about 350 different species of birds. It is also known as Ornithological Paradise with a mouth-watering dinner and overnight stay at a budget hotel /lodge.
Day 6: Lake Nakuru –Lake Bogoria -Lake Baringo
After breakfast drive to Lake Bogoria where the hot water spring abound with plenty of medicinal springs.Shortly after lunch you undertake an exciting excursion visit to Lake Baringo with a terrific boat trip to see various species of birds and ancient caves.Kindly note the boat ride is only one hour) and if you require more hours, one pays direct with dinner and overnight stay at a budget hotel/lodge.
Day 7: Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast, depart for Samburu via Thompson falls with a mouth-watering lunch en-route with arrival in the late afternoon with a sumptuous dinner and overnight at the tented camp /lodge.
Day 8: Samburu
After breakfast, depart for an early morning game drive. Return to the camp/lodge for lunch and later in the afternoon undertake more thrilling game drives with dinner and overnight stay at the tented camp /lodge.
Day 9: Samburu -Mt. Kenya
After breakfast, leave Samburu for Mount Kenya (Nanyuki) arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, visit the Mau Mau Cabes (where Kenyan Freedom Fighters could hide from the British Troops during the struggle for independence). Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel/lodge
Day 10: Mt. Kenya –Amboseli National Park via Nairobi
After breakfast, drive fast the biggest open-air market in East and Central Africa (Karatina). Proceed to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch in one of the superb restaurants. Continue to Amboseli via Kenya/Tanzania border (Namanga) arriving in Amboseli in the late afternoon with an evening game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at a luxury tented camp/lodge
Day 11: Amboseli National Park
Early moerning Game drive before breakfast. After breakfast have a whole day game viewing.
Optional:
- Maasai Village visit
- Swimming in one of the lodges
- Nature walk
(All at an extra cost): Thereafter return to the luxury tented camp/lodge for dinner and a cool overnight stay.
Day 12: Amboseli-Tsavo West West National Park
After breakfast drive via Chyulu Hills to Tsavo West National Park arriving on time for lunch. Afternoon game drives and a visit to Mzima Springs (the source of drinking water for Mombasa).
Return for dinner and overnight stay at the tented camp/lodge.
Day 13: Tsavo West-Tsavo East
After breakfast, drive to Tsavo East which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous Man - eating Lions (during the building of the Kenya/Uganda Railway in 1890). Have a mouth-watering lunch on arrival and a subsequent game drive later in the afternoon with a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay at the luxury tented camp/lodge
Day 14: Tsavo East - Mombasa or Nairobi
Depart Tsavo East either to Mombasa or Nairobi.
Nairobi –Tree Hotel- Samburu National Reserve - Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara-Nairobi. (7 Days/6 Nights)
Day 1: Nairobi – Tree Hotel
Leave Nairobi in the morning to reach the small market town of Nyeri in time for lunch. Day 3: Samburu National Reserve
Another exploration of this harshly beautiful reserve where game bounds especially in the forest fringes of the Uaso Nyiro River, which flows gently through the dry landscape.Lunch is followed by an afternoon leisure, perhaps by the pool with a mouth-watering dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or camp.
Day 4: Samburu – Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha
Depart shortly after an english breakfast and drive past the northern tip of the Aberdares mountains to descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located. Visit the world’s famous birds sanctuary in Lake Nakuru National park noted for its huge concentration of flamingoes. Lunch and overnight at the lodge or camp in the park or proceed to Lake Naivasha where the night is spent at a cozy Lake side hotel.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Leave the beautiful lake to drive across the lunar landscape of the Great Rift Valley to reach Kenya’s best known game reserve the Maasai Mara in time for lunch. In the afternoon explore the rolling hills and plains for wonderful sights for the great difference species found here with a mouth-watering dinner and overnight stay at a lodge or camp in or near the reserve.
Day 6: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
